Southern University holds 2013 Homecoming Step Show

Hundreds of people filled the seats at Southern University's Felton G. Clark Activity Center for the 2013 Homecoming step show where Southern Greeks showcased their talents.  Stepping is where people use their feet and hands to make sounds or music competitively.

"Stepping is a part of the culture here," said Josh White member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.

White said his team has been practicing for months, for Fridays show. He said Homecoming is the most important time of the year, because so many alumni come back.

"A lot of my fraternity members come back and we network with them, it's a really good feeling," said White.

Southern's Homecoming ends tomorrow Saturday 26, 2013 as the jaguar face Alcorn State University.
