One person is dead after a crash on the Ohio Turnpike at exit 71.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Sanbamurti Shankara, 97, had to be transported to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center after a car he was a passenger in was struck by a tractor trailer, where he later died of his injuries.
Troopers say Vijay Sharma, 49, from Solon, OH was attempting to exit the turnpike when he lost control of his car and drove onto the acceleration ramp to exit 71.
A semi being driving by Wayne Sheatler, 33, of Claysville, PA was entering the turnpike at the same time and struck Mr. Sharma's vehicle.
