In an effort to increase understanding of the problems and solutions in the drive to end hunger,WAFB presents the World Food Day Poster Contest, sponsored by Whole Foods Market.
If you are a Baton Rouge area student in grades 1st through 8th, please send us your poster art commemorating World Food Day and the drive to end hunger. The winning artist's art will be featured on 9 News This Morning and on WAFB.com.
The student selected as the winner will receive a fantastic Child's Gift Basket courtesy of Whole Foods Market (a $100 value!).

All students beginning with 1st through 8th grades in Louisiana are eligible for entry in the WAFB World Hunger Day Poster Contest.
Your poster entry should have the theme of "We Can End Hunger".

Posters created by students must be their own original artwork. Copyrighted characters (such as Superman) or copyrighted clip art will not be accepted.
Students may use any variety of media.
SIZE AND LAYOUT
Minimum: 8 ½" x 11" - Maximum: 18" x 24"
Unframed and un-matted works only.
Judging is a blind process. All applicants will be judged on three equal parts: creativity, theme and overall design.
A panel of WAFB judges will determine the grand prize winner.
Grand Prize winners will be featured on WAFB-TV and given a $100 Child's Gift Basket from Whole Foods Market.
