Parents worried about heat at Baton Rouge school

Parents of students at one of Baton Rouge's magnet schools are concerned because the school's gym does not have air conditioning.  They say that temperatures in the gym reach triple digits at times.  WAFB's Cheryl Mercedes will have more tonight on 9News at 5.

Later on 9News at 6:  Baton Rouge Police Chief Carl Dabadie spoke today at a packed Rotary Club meeting about the state of the department when he took office and his goals for the community and the department.  WAFB's Kiran Chawla will have more tonight at 6.
