Police arrest accused bookstore flasher

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Police have arrested a suspect in the investigation into a man exposing himself inside a bookstore after receiving a crucial tip from the public.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported Hal Davis, 54, of Baton Rouge was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon.

Detectives said they received information through a Crime Stoppers tip, which helped them find Davis and arrest him.

Davis is accused of exposing his genital inside the Barnes and Noble in the 2500 block of Citiplace Court on July 28.

He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a charge of obscenity.
