BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Of the two men wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that happened on Big Bend Avenue on September 4, 2013, one has been arrested and charged with first degree murder.
Reports say 20-year-old Rayjuan Martin was in a vehicle trying to turn around in a driveway when he was blocked by another vehicle. Two men approached Martin and his passenger with handguns and tried to rob them.
Curtis Howard, Jr., 18, was arrested Tuesday and charged with first degree murder.
The passenger in Martin's vehicle was able to get away just before Martin was shot multiple times.
Police are still searching for 22-year-old Brian Julius Nero. Investigators believe the shooting was drug related.
