Multi-vehicle accident shuts down KY 237 at Cougar Path

HEBRON, KY (FOX19) -

Officials report that a Kentucky highway is shut down due to a multi-vehicle accident on Saturday evening.

A Hebron fire official reports that northbound Kentucky 237 (KY 237) was shut down at Cougar Path for a multi-vehicle accident at approximately 5:50 p.m.

Police say that Joshua Burling, 18, collided with Deanna Patton, 37, who was driving a 2013 Nissan Rogue. Burling's 1995 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck spun around and hit, Ronald Ginzinger 74, and his wife Rita, 71 in their 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada.

Ronald Ginzinger was flown to University Hospital with life-threatening injuries. All others involved in the crash were taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Florence.

The Boone County Sheriff's Office is currently investigated the accident.
