Hammond man arrested for car dealership burglary

HAMMOND, LA (WAFB) - A Hammond man was arrested Saturday evening after allegedly burglarizing a used car dealership.

According to reports, Kenneth Abron, 30, burglarized the Pay Day Used Car lot's main office on West Thomas.

Deputies responded after a burglary alarm was set off.

Abron was caught after a short chase.

He has been charged with simple burglary, criminal damage to property, resisting an officer by flight and outstanding warrants.
