Ballot set for 5th District Congressional race

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The ballot is set for the 5th District Congressional Race in October.

Qualifying for candidates ended Wednesday. The 5th District Seat is being vacated by Representative Rodney Alexander, who is leaving to become Veterans Affairs Secretary for Governor Bobby Jindal.

Fourteen people are on the list of those seeking the seat; which represents Northeast and Central Louisiana.
