Police try to identify Auto Zone burglary suspect

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police are asking for help with identifying the suspect accused of burglarizing an auto parts store.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported the crime happened at the Auto Zone on Florida Boulevard on August 3 around 2 a.m.

Investigators said the suspect broke a window to get inside. He then stole several items and left in a vehicle. Detectives do not have a description of that vehicle.

Police said the suspect was wearing white shoes with black laces. There was a number "3" on the right sleeve of his shirt.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the burglary is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
