Two men sentenced on drug charges

LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) - Two Livingston Parish men have each been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to drug charges.

Daishawn Dantzler, 25, pled guilty to three counts of distribution of crack and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Dantzler had been accused of selling crack on three separate occasions to narcotics detectives.  When he was arrested, he had a pistol in his possession.

In a separate case, Gary Don Huffman, 33, pled guilty to possession of heroin.  

Huffman was arrested in September 2012.
