Infant found in room filled with narcotics, loaded weapons

BAKER, LA (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge man was arrested after officials found approximately 100 individual units of Ecstasy, Molly's, Hydrocodone and an assortment of legend drugs were found in a Baker, La home.

During a search warrant at the home in the 10000 block of Avenue E., authorities found a 10-month-old baby girl in a room where the drugs, paraphernalia, a stolen fully loaded AK-47 with a 30 round magazine and fully loaded .9mm handgun and extra ammunition were being kept.

Brenton Johnson, Jr., 22, was arrested Thursday morning. Johnson is a convicted felon and was charged with two counts of possession of a stolen firearm, illegal possession of a firearm, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, two counts of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute of schedule I and III, possession of a legend drug, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor.
