FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) -

It was Kenton County versus Boone County during Monday's Stuff the Bus Challenge.

The event was held at the Chick-fil-A restaurant on Houston Road in Florence with a bus representing each district. Participants brought three or more school supply items and picked which bus to 'stuff'.

Whichever district had the most items inside their bus got an extra $500 donation from Chick-fil-A.

The competition wrapped up with more than 2,200 items for Boone County. Kenton County came in with just under 2,000 school items.

In addition, anyone who brought school supplies to the event received a free Chick-fil-A sandwich.
