SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Three people are in police custody following a shooting in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood and a police chase that ended in Cedar Grove.

Officers were called to the 400 block of Egan Street just before 12:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting. The man that was shot on Egan Street is said to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Few details are available as the situation is still developing, but a chase involving a black Crown Victoria believed to be carrying those involved in the shooting ended in Cedar Grove with a wreck on W. 75th Street and St. Vincent Avenue near Atkins Technology Elementary School.

There, officers took 2 into custody at the scene and recovered what appears to be a handgun. A man in a car that was hit by the suspects' vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A third suspect was arrested a short time later, after he was found hiding in a detached garage in the 400 block of Gladstone.

Police have also recovered what appears to be a semi-automatic rifle at Union Ave. and W. 70th Street, not far from where the chase ended.

Police are still searching in the Forest and Creswell area for a possible fourth suspect, because witnesses reported seeing a man jump out of the suspect vehicle during the chase.
