White Wedding Cake Cupcake - Treat Me Cupcake


1 ½ cups sugar

2 cups all-purpose flour

3 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp almond extract

1 cup milk

½ cup shortening

5 egg whites

Icing (secret recipe)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 C). Line a muffin pan with paper liners.

In a large bowl, beat flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, shortening, and vanilla on low until moistened. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add egg whites and beat for 2 minutes.

Bake 15-20 minutes. Cake is done when it springs back to the touch or when toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Allow to cool before adding homemade icing.
