TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Murder suspect David Zielinski was arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court Wednesday morning.

His bond was set at $1 million.

Zielinksi is accused of killing Michael Jackson, 20, during his sleep Sunday in a west Toledo apartment. Officials say he was shot six times and stabbed twice.

An arrest warrant for aggravated murder was issued for Zielinski later that day. He wasn't captured until Tuesday afternoon at a Pilot gas station in north Toledo.

Jackson's family members say they are relieved Zielinski was found and want to make sure he is prosecuted.

"He doesn't deserve to have a life," said Jackson's mother, Pamela.

Zielinski is currently being held at the Lucas County Jail. He is scheduled to be in court again Thursday since he did not have an attorney present Wednesday.
