PEORIA, AZ (CBS5) -

Maricopa County Sheriff's investigators arrested 27-year-old Frederick Cusick for posts he wrote on YouTube threatening to kill Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Thursday, he was bonded out of jail, and spoke to CBS 5 News about his arrest.

"I have evidence. I have security cameras and everything from Wal-Mart and stuff showing I wasn't even here at the time," claimed Cusick.

Cusick is the third person this year alone arrested for threatening Arpaio's life. In the post, Cusick claimed he would cash in on a bounty offered by Mexican cartels.

"(Expletive) Sheriff Joe. He's racist. I'm going to be taking them up on their $2,000,000 bounty on his head. Me and my boys, we have an arsenal of weapons. Sheriff Joe won't be around much longer," wrote Cusick, according to investigators.

"A concerned citizen called us along with the FBI," said MCSO Detective Brian Mackiewicz.

Mackiewicz and his team quickly found other posts.

"He states he has a weapon. He states he hates law enforcement. When you put all of these together, we're going to take something like that very serious, and we're going to investigate to the fullest extent," explained Mackiewicz.

CBS 5 went to Cusick's home after he bonded out of jail. His grandfather, Bob Burns, said the allegations were not accurate.

"The cops told us he threatened Arpaio's life, but they wouldn't show me proof of what they say he did. It's a big mix up with them," said Burns.

Investigators were contacted about the post this past June. While serving a search warrant, MCSO did not find a firearm.
