UPDATE: One dead after shooting near E. 60th and Woodland

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Cleveland Police are investigating a shooting that took place on Sunday, July 7, at around 4:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of Bundy near East 60th and Woodland Ave.

The shooting left a 20-year-old male injured from a gunshot wound to the chest.  The victim was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

Witnesses report a possible exchange of gunfire between multiple subjects.

CMHA Police also responded to the scene of the shooting and are working with CPD to locate the shooter (s) involved in the incident.  At this time there is no suspect description available.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office responded to both the scene and the hospital to determine the cause of death.
