NAPOLEONVILLE, LA (WAFB) - Deputies said a man wanted in connection with a shooting turned himself in to them Tuesday evening.
The Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office said Daron Holloway, 21, of Napoleonville, surrendered around 7:30 p.m.
He was booked on a charge of attempted second-degree murder. Sheriff Mike Waguespack said bond will be set Wednesday.
Holloway is accused of shooting a man on LA 308. Investigators believe he and the victim got into an argument at the victim's home.
Holloway allegedly pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the back as he tried to run away.
The victim is in guarded condition.
