HAMMOND, LA (WAFB) - Authorities said a confidential source led them to a suspect in a home break-in investigation.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office said Darren Collier, 46, of Albany was arrested.
Investigators said Collier told them he stole tools and other items from the home to try to sell for drug money.
Deputies said the confidential source told them Collier had broken into a home on US 190 West and possessed stolen items.
TPSO reported he was booked on a burglary charge after admitting to the crime.
Bond information was not provided.
