"The First 48" heads to New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) - The highly-acclaimed A&E show "The First 48" is heading to Louisiana to follow the work of the New Orleans Police Department.

The reality show will film for an entire year, following the NOPD's homicide detectives and their mission to solve murders.

The crew will follow every murder call that comes in and spend 24 hours a day, seven days a week with the division.

The show is in its 14th season and episodes from the Crescent City will begin airing late this fall.
