11 Police Chief candidates pass civil service exam

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The list of candidates for the Baton Rouge Police Chief position is down to 11.

The Civil Service Board announced the following candidates had passed the civil service exam:

  • James Drickamer, 91
  • Jonathan Dunnam, 91
  • Patricia Tauzin, 86
  • Noel Salamoni, 85
  • Carl Dunn, 85
  • Myron Daniels, 85
  • Carl Dabadie, 84
  • Bill Press, 83
  • Christopher Taylor, 82
  • Chad King, 80
  • Christopher Johnson, 78

The 11 names will now go to Mayor Kip Holden who will decide who the next chief will be.

Interim Chief Carl Dabadie's provisional term as chief ends on August 20.

The search for a new Chief comes after Holden fired former Police Chief Dwayne White back in February.
