Donations stream in to help family displaced by fire

Tonight on 9News at 5:  Police say one person is dead and another is in the hospital in a drug-related shooting overnight on Evangeline St.  A gun found near the scene of the shootings was a New Orleans Police weapon that was reported stolen in 2011.

Tons of donations have flooded in to help a family that lost everything in an early morning fire yesterday.  The Gentris family says they are grateful for the help they've received from strangers.  WAFB's Jim Shannon will have more tonight on 9News at 6.
