BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Louisiana businessman accused in a film tax credit scheme has pleaded guilty to fraud charges.
Matthew Keith, 36, admitted in federal court Wednesday to helping a business associate illegally obtain more than $1 million in Louisiana film tax credits.
He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in Judge Brian Jackson's courtroom.
His associate, Daniel Garcia, pleaded guilty to the same charge last month.
Keith faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Sentencing has not yet been scheduled.
