GROSSE TETE, LA (WAFB) - Officials said all lanes of I-10 East are open after an incident involving an 18-wheeler, but the backup has reached about five miles.
Louisiana State Police said it happened near mile marker 141 in Iberville Parish shortly after 5 a.m.
All lanes were reopened a little after 9:30 a.m.
Troopers said the tractor trailer lost its load.
According to the Baton Rouge Traffic Center, the backup from the incident was one mile at 7 a.m. and then at three miles by 9 a.m.
The cause of the incident has not been released.
