LIVINGSTON, LA (WAFB) -

A sentencing date has been scheduled for a former fire chief convicted Friday on nine counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Franklin Dale Church will learn his punishment on June 27. He faces seven years with or without hard labor for each count, which could be 63 years.

A jury made up of seven people, four women and three men, found Church guilty of the charges shortly after both prosecution and defense attorneys rested.

The charges stem from acts that happened between March 2012 and June 2012 with a 14-year-old female and an incident with a 13-year-old girl in December 2009.

Back in 2010, he was arrested for having inappropriate pictures of a juvenile on his computer and charged with 101 counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile. But, many of those were dismissed because the statute of limitations ran out.
