HOLDEN, LA (WAFB) - A jury convicted former Holden Fire Chief Franklin Dale Church on nine counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, including one count of computer aided solicitation.

The jury made up of seven people, four women and three men, decided Church's fate shortly after both prosecution and defense attorneys rested.

According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, the charges stem from acts that happened between March 2012 and June 2012 with a 14-year-old female and an incident with a 13-year-old girl in December 2009.

Church was released from jail in January 2012 stemming from a November 2010 arrest where he was charged with 101 counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one count of pornography involving a juvenile. The charges were dismissed because of the statute of limitations.

Sentencing for Church is set for June 27. He faces seven years with or without hard labor for each count, which could be 63 years.
