Omaha prepares for Tiger fans

LSU fans planning to follow the LSU Tiger Baseball team to Omaha for the NCAA College World Series have a few options available when it comes to finding tickets.

Hoping the Tigers are fortunate enough to make it to the championship series, the LSU Alumni Association is putting together its first College World Series Championship trip for the final games.

"We've already heard from bars and restaurants in Omaha," said Jason Ramezan, LSU Alumni Association vice-president.  "People in Omaha tell us Omaha is just not the same without LSU."

This will be the Tigers' first trip to the CWS since winning the championship in 2009.

The LSU Alumni Association's trip to the final championship games, includes tickets, hotel and chartered air accommodations among other things.     Information on availability can be found by calling the Alumni Association at (225) 578-3838.

As for fans wanting to make the trip and find tickets on their own, officials in Omaha say there should be general admission tickets available- but they can not be guaranteed.
