South Carolina and North Carolina postponed until Tuesday

Chapel Hill, NC - From the NCAA

Due to weather conditions affecting the Chapel Hill, N.C., area, Game 3 of the Division I Baseball Super Regional between North Carolina and South Carolina will be postponed until noon ET Tuesday. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

The NCAA and the participating institutions all agreed this was in the best interest of the student-athletes and fans.

The best-of-three series is tied at one game. The Tar Heels won game one 6-5 in dramatic fashion, scoring once in the bottom of the ninth inning on Saturday. Freshman Skye Bolt stroked an RBI single to plate Parks Jordan from second base for the game-winning run.

The Gamecocks blanked UNC 8-0 on Sunday to tie the series. Sophomore Jordan Montgomery pitched a four-hitter as the Tar Heels suffered their most lopsided loss this year.
