CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
A suspect who is accused of stealing toys from the Toys for Tots warehouse in St. Bernard on Christmas Eve of 2011 appeared in Hamilton County court on Wednesday.
Jesse Simpson, 26, is charged with three counts of breaking and entering and two counts of receiving stolen property.
Simpson and his uncle, Nathan Rose, were arrested at their Covington home shortly after the theft. Police found some of the stolen toys at the home and also in a storage bin in Cincinnati.
Simpson admitted to the crime and served time in Kenton County Detention Center, according to online jail records.
Warrants were issued for Simpson and Rose in Hamilton County on Sept. 28, 2012. Simpson was arrested on Tuesday and booked in the Hamilton County Justice Center. His bond was set at $135,000 during an arraignment on Wednesday.
