Investigators said the day after seizing counterfeit goods from a store they seized more fake merchandise from a shipment to the same store.

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) said it seized $500,000 worth of counterfeit goods Friday that were headed to Fashion Express on Airline Highway in Baton Rouge.

Agents reported more than 3,000 fake items, worth more than $1 million, were collected from the store Thursday. The items were fake designer shoes and purses. The items were counterfeit Nike shoes, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Coach, and other clothing, purses and shoes.

One arrest was made Thursday during the initial raid. Bocar Ba, 43, was arrested and charged with illegal use of counterfeit trademark in connection with the sale and distribution of counterfeit goods.

HSI and the Office of the Louisiana Attorney General executed the search warrant Friday.

The case remains under investigation.
