Miss Louisiana 2012, Lauren Vizza and Les Miles, LSU Head Football Coach, go Over the Edge for Adoption. Miss Louisiana is representing the Louisiana Propane Dealers.

They, along with Louisiana State Police Colonel Mike Edmonson, rappelled over the edge of the one of the tallest buildings in the state of Louisiana, One American Place in Downtown Baton Rouge, is 24-stories tall, more than 300 feet.

The event is sponsored by the Louisiana Family Forum to increase awareness of the nearly 500 adoption-eligible children in Louisiana's Foster Care program.

The event is called Over the Edge and will feature individuals, including policy makers, pastors and key state leaders, rappelling down the building.

Friday Gov. Jindal will sign a bill to reduce red tape in foster care adoptions.
