OH Flags flying at half-staff for Memorial Day

(Toledo News Now) -

Gov. John Kasich has issued a Memorial Day resolution saying that all flags must be flown at half-staff on public buildings and grounds across Ohio.

The resolution also  encourages all Ohioans to take time to remember the sacrifice of the men and women who have served their country.

Memorial Day is held in honor of the those in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard who gave their lives in service to the United States.

Flags will remain at half-staff from sunrise until noon on Monday.
