Sheriff's Deputy Paul Little was in jail Wednesday until he posted bond.
Neighbors are shocked by the charges against him.
Anaszewicz says he never suspected anything out of the ordinary with the man
who lives just a few houses down from him, but 40-year-old Little was in court
Wednesday, accused of giving his 9MM gun to a known, convicted felon, Kenneth
Rodgers, as well as intimidation – threatening to kill Rodgers after learning he
was working with the Lucas County Sheriff's Office on a case that may have
proven Little was trafficking marijuana. He was also accused of filing a false
report, telling Toledo Police his gun had been stolen from his vehicle.
"I don't believe that," Anaszewicz said. "No
way, because why would he give up his career for that?...It just doesn't make
