HAUGHTON, LA (KSLA) -

Jackie Cook lives in Haughton, LA, some 400 miles away from Moore, OK, but after seeing the coverage of deadly storm there, she knew she had to help in some way.

That way, it turned out, is by donating a camper.

"I don't have money but I have this camper. I know it's not much but it's a roof over someone's head who just lost everything." Said Cook.

Cook saw the story of Barbara Garcia and her dog "Bouncy." The pair was caught under debris after the EF-5 tornado completely destroyed Garcia's home. Garcia had just about given up hope on finding her beloved pet when out popped a little head from under the rubble.

Now Cook wants to make contact with Garcia in hopes of personally delivering a camper to her to have while she starts the re-building process.

"I'm not in it for the glory or the fame. I just want to help and hopefully inspire others to help as well." Said Cook.
