HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

A Hamilton man has been arrested after a weeklong crime spree in Butler County.

The crime spree started on May 11 when a woman came out of her bedroom to find her purse and vehicle had been stolen. Wright's vehicle was later recovered.

Warrants were issued for the arrest of Steven Flanary.

On Thursday, May 14, a man was contacted when someone, later identified as Steven Flanary, was writing checks on the man's account. The checks were stolen from the man's home.

Flanary struck again on May 17 when a man awoke to find his vehicle and credit cards had been stolen by Flanary. Flanary used the credit cards to make several purchases. Detectives and Warrants Deputies tracked Flanary throughout the day on Friday and took him into custody as he pulled into a parking lot in Ross, driving the stolen vehicle.

Flanary is currently being held in the Butler County Jail on multiple felony charges.
