Jameson Fisher (.316), Ben Hernandez (.312) and Harry Slade (.309) lead Southeastern at the plate. Fisher leads the team with 11 doubles while he and Arron Haag have each hit a team-high three home runs. Slade leads the team with 34 RBIs and 12 stolen bases.

Southeastern will send sophomore right-hander Andro Čutura (1-3, 3.94) to the hill in the opener against Cowboy senior right-hander Blake Ware (5-5, 2.32).

Friday, a pair of freshman will matchup as Lion right-hander Tate Scioneaux (6-2, 3.72) draws McNeese righty Bryce Kingsley (7-5, 2.73). The game, originally scheduled for the afternoon, has been pushed back to a 6:30 p.m. start time.

Southeastern has not announced a starting pitcher for the 1 p.m. Saturday finale, but the Cowboys will start senior left-hander Jason Gibson (3-1, 4.94).

McNeese is led at the plate by Jackson Gooch. The junior from Delta, British Columbia, Canada, is hitting .301 with 14 doubles, five home runs and 33 RBIs. Andrew Guillotte has stolen a team-high 15 bases in 21 attempts.

The Southland Conference Tournament is scheduled for May 22-25 at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas. Southeastern, which has clinched a spot, could be seeded anywhere from second to seventh depending on this weekend's action. McNeese is battling Nicholls for the final spot.
