Another SEC coach has taken a verbal shot at Alabama head coach Nick Saban. This time it was Florida's offensive line coach Tim Davis.
Davis, who coached with Saban at Miami for three years, was speaking to boosters when he compared the Alabama head coach to his new boss, Will Muschamp.
"Will and I go back to the Miami Dolphins," Davis said. "I've always wanted to work with Will. Will's got a plan. Will coached under the devil himself for seven years. I only did three. He did seven. And his DNA is not any different than Nick."
"Muschamp is like the other guy, only he's got a personality. He'll smile at you. He'll talk to you. You understand? That's what he's all about. That's Will. I'm proud to work for him."
In January, Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin referred to Saban as "Nicky Satan." Franklin later apologized for his comments.
