Bengals sign two 7th round picks

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Cincinnati Bengals signed two selections from the 2013 NFL Draft on Friday.

Offensive tackle Reid Fragel (seventh round, 6-8, 308; Ohio State) and center T.J. Johnson (seventh round, 6-4, 310; South Carolina).

Fragel played his first college season at OT last season, after three years as a tight end. He earned All-Big Ten honorable mention while helping Ohio State to a 12-0 season.

Johnson set a South Carolina record by starting 53 consecutive games, playing both center and guard. He became the only player in Gamecocks history to start four wins over Clemson.

On Thursday, Fragel turned to Twitter to express his excitement: "@Fragel79: Officially signed with the Cincinnati Bengals, can't wait to go to work"

WAFB ARCHIVES: Former Mississippi sharecropping family, all college graduates, reunite for Thanksgiving meal

Thanksgiving is about sharing, so we want to share something with you. In 1978, CBS news' "On The Road" segment was hosted by Charles Kuralt. He found a family of 11 in Prairie, Mississippi, all coming home for Thanksgiving. All nine children had memories of a sharecropper's cabin and nothing to wear and nothing to eat. All nine are college graduates.
