Arrest made in shooting at Bossier City apartment complex

The Bossier City Police Department is investigating a shooting in the parking lot of a Shed Road apartment complex that left one man injured.

Officers were called to the Cloverdale Apartments in the 2200 block of Shed Road just before 6 p.m. for a report of a shooting and found a man with a gunshot wound to his thigh.

The Bossier City Fire Department took George Heard, 31 of Bossier City, to LSU Hospital in Shreveport. His wound is not believed to be life threatening.

Detectives have arrested a man they brought in for questioning. He's been identified as Dangelo Hill, 28 of Bossier City. He's been booked at the Bossier City Jail on a charge of aggravated second degree battery. According to Bossier City Police, Hill shot Heard during an argument.
