Bowie County boy goes home after lawn mower accident

BOWIE CO., TX (KSLA) -

Four-year-old Alex Flowers returned home Friday for the first time since he was run over by a lawnmower.

Alex was seriously injured after a relative accidentally ran over him with a lawnmower at their Wake Village home in Texas.

Doctors had to amputate his leg during his last surgery a few weeks ago.

KSLA News 12's cameras were rolling as Alex was greeted by friends and family in his front yard. He even got to ride on a fire truck.
