BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
officials said several streets in the downtown area will close to traffic over
the next two weeks to film a movie. "Search Party" stars T.J. Miller,
Adam Pally and Thomas Middleditch.
closures and parking restrictions:
May 2 to Saturday, May 4:
Street between Convention Street and North Boulevard will be closed to traffic
restrictions on Lafayette Street
traffic closures will occur on North Blvd between 4th Street and River Road
between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
restrictions will be enforced on North Boulevard (eastbound and westbound) between
3rd Street and 5th Street
traffic closures will also occur on North 4th Street between North Boulevard
and Convention Street between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
will be restricted on N. 4th Street between North Boulevard and Convention
Street from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
traffic closures will occur on Spanish Town Road between N. 5th Street and
N.3rd Street from 2:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.
will be restricted on Spanish Town Road between 5th Street and 3rd Street from
5 a.m. until 7 p.m.
will also be restricted on both sides of N. 4th Street between Spanish Town
Road and Lafayette Street, and on the southbound side of N. 4th Street between
Lafayette Street and North Street from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m.
traffic closures will occur on North Boulevard between Lafayette and River Road
from 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
will be restricted on both sides of North Boulevard between Third Street and
River Road from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on both sides of South River Road in
the area around North Boulevard and the Old State Capitol

Mayor Kip Holden said in a written release. "The last film that they made
here was ‘Pitch Perfect,' a musical comedy that cost $17 million and grossed
more than $112 million at the box office. We hope that they can build upon that
success with the filming of 'Search Party.'"
Party" is a comedy about two friends who embark on a mission to reunite
their pal with the woman he was going to marry.
