NAPOLEONVILLE, LA (WAFB) -

A pair of teens have been arrested for the burglary of a Napoleonville home.

The owner of the home said he had left his residents for about 45 minutes Tuesday night when an alert neighbor called and told him someone was pacing back and forth in the driveway.

According to reports, when the homeowner returned, he saw a flash of light inside the house and then spotted two suspects running from the home.

Sheriff Mike Waguespack says deputies found Ronald Washington Jr., 17, hiding in a recycling bin.  Deputies say Washington admitted to stealing a coin pouch and push lawn mower with a 15-year-old during the burglary.

Washington and the 15-year-old have been charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and theft of under $300.
