Identity thieves use recoded credit cards

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Detectives are looking for three suspects that allegedly used two victims' information to go shopping.

Investigators say the three men used info coded on new cards to buy $1,200 worth of gift cards at the Walmart on North Mall Dr.

The gift cards were later used in Texas and California.

The three suspects were seen leaving in a white crossover-style vehicle.
