NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) - There are new search efforts being implemented to try to find missing New Orleans teacher Terrilynn Monette.
State Rep. Austin Badon, D-New Orleans, announced a private salvage company will begin removing submerged vehicles from Bayou St. John.
Crews are hoping to find clues there that will lead them to the missing teacher.
Officials said there are more than 20 submerged cars and trucks in the waterway along City Park.
Monette was last seen near City Park on March 2 in images caught on a traffic camera.
