Grape Salsa - River Road Recipes IV, Warm Welcomes

This colorful salsa is a tasty combination of sweet and spicy flavors and makes a beautiful presentation.


1 bunch seedless green grapes, cut into halves

1 bunch seedless red grapes, cut into halves

1 pint grape tomatoes

½ to 1 purple onion, chopped

½ green bell pepper, chopped

½ red, yellow, or orange bell pepper, chopped

1 bunch cilantro, stems removed and chopped

3 garlic cloves, finely chopped

1 jalapeñeo chile, seeded and chopped

Juice of 3 limes

Olive oil to taste


Combine the grapes, tomatoes, onion, bell peppers, cilantro, garlic and jalapeñeo chile in a bowl and mix well, Add the lime juice and olive oil and toss to coat. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Serve as an appetizer with corn chips or as a side salad.
