EAST FELICIANA PARISH, LA (WAFB) - A 22-year-old man turned himself in to the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office three hours after reports say he shot another man after an argument.
The shooting happened around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, about two miles south of Wilson, LA. Deputies say Kamen Washington, 22, and Alvin Williams, 20, were arguing. Just before Washington left the scene, he turned and shot Williams once in the upper leg.
Williams was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
Around 5:15 a.m., Washington turned himself into investigators at the East Feliciana Parish Prison and was arrested and booked on the charge of attempted second degree murder.
Washington has since been released on a $150,000 bond.
