Driver hits pole, three injured

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Three people were taken to an area hospital early Tuesday morning, after a car crashed into a pole.

Police say shortly after midnight, the driver lost control on North Detroit Avenue near west Toledo.

The crash sheered the pole and brought down a wire.

Toledo Edison crews quickly arrived on the scene to repair the damage and avoid any power outages.

Three people inside the vehicle went to the hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
