DOUGLAS, AZ (CBS5) -

A 17-year-old boy has been turned over to federal officials after he attempted to smuggle nearly 269 pounds of marijuana through the Douglas Port of Entry, authorities said.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said officers found 246 packages of pot throughout the Agua Prieta teen's van on Sunday. The drugs, valued at $134,000, were processed for seizure and the teen was arrested.
