Suspect in fatal shooting turns himself in

LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) - Authorities say the man responsible for a double-shooting in Albany turned himself in Saturday morning in Livingston Parish.

Sheriff's deputies say Earl Johnson Jr., 24, shot Darryl Patrick and a second victim on Ed Brown Rd., near the Livingston-Tangiphoa Parish line.

Patrick, 46, later died at the hospital.  The second victim is in stable condition. Johnson faces second degree murder and attempted second degree murder charges.
